How to Book
After checking online if the apartment is available, you should fill the reservation request and send it to us by fax to get a quotation. If you agree with the quotation, simply send it back to us. You should provide us with your credit card number but this will only be used for guarantee. No amount will be charged on your card.
The person who has signed the booking request form is responsible for payment of the price of the temporary rental and the compliance of himself and all the members of the party with these general rental conditions. Booking cannot be accepted from persons under 18 years of age at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
How to confirm his booking
Within 7 days, we must receive the deposit for your reservation corresponding to 30% of the total cost of the rental. Your rental will be definitely accepted and reserved in your name only when your deposit is received. You will received confirmation in writing (e-mail, mail or fax) and ask us to verify that all the details of your rental is correct.
Balance Payment
The balance must be paid not later than the first day of the rental. Failure to pay the balance on time will constitute cancellation and cancellation charges will become payable in accordance with paragraph 7 If you book an accommodation less than 7 nights before the arrival, the full rental charges is payable at the time of booking.
Rates
Prices are given in Euros. A toll to automatically convert the amount is provided online with every description of the apartments. Details on each apartment include a price per week (7 days/6 nights). If you book for more than one week, additional days are charged based on the 7 days rate prorata. Price for a month stay (30 days) are available on request though the request for quotation tool online.
ATTENTION :
The apartments are let fully furnished and equipped. Some details about what is included in the price can be read on each technical apartment card. Each apartment who has been booked for less than one month include a housekeeping at the end of the stay. The price for all properties includes linen. The internet web pages states the additional facilities and services available at any individual apartments. “A la carte”

Insurance for guest’s luggage, cash, valuables : please, contact your insurance agent before departure.
The company “Le Paris de Dorothée” reserves the right to substitute accommodation of equivalent or higher category to that booked by guest if circumstances require.
Accepted payment
Whatever you paid the security deposit refundable, we refund it by credit card.
Euro wire transfers - Please note that transfer fees are born by the payer.
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard) for payment of balance upon arrival.Please take good note that a 5% commission will be charged in addition.
Cash in Euros or Travellers Checks.
Security deposit
A security tenant deposit is required to cover the cost of any damage or breakages that you and people in the apartment could have done. The cost depends on the term of your contract. Delays may be caused while we are waiting to receive bills from providers.
A credit card print will be done the day of your arrival when you will have the keys of your accommodation. This amount will be refunded to your credit card. Extra delays can be caused by credit card network.
Up to 1 month : the security deposit is equal to the rent. More than 1 month rent : the security deposit is equal to 2 months rent.
The security deposit will be returned to you the day of your departure or the latest, within 2 weeks of your departure from the property less any costs by mail.
Cancellation
Cancellation by “Le Paris de Dorothée”
If an exceptional event occurs, we will obliged to assign you a different apartment than the one reserved. You will be informed and we will do our best to see that you are given accommodations in a flat in a similar or superior category without an extensive price.
If the alternative temporary accommodation is not acceptable, we will refund in full all monies paid and shall be under no other liability than the amount paid to get the booking confirmation (30% of the rent in most of the cases).
Cancellation by You
Any cancellation request made by you for whatever reason, must be sent in writing by e-mail,fax or mail : dn@leparisdedorothee.com - Fax : (+33) 1 46 27 37 21 - “Le Paris de Dorothée” - 37 rue Nollet 75017 PARIS. The effective date of cancellation is the date on which written notification is received by us in Paris.
Two possibilities :
To avoid cancellation fees, we recommend you to book only when your travel dates are firm and to ask your travel agent for a cancellation insurance.
Modification
If after your reservation is confirmed, you want to make some changes (dates, place, number of occupants, etc…), we reserve the right to treat a change of property and/or rental dates as a cancellation of one accommodation and the booking of another.
Phone
The payment for the phone consumers depends on the apartment that you rented. A use notice will be given to explain to you when you will be in the flat.
Photos
Photographs found on our site cannot be used without the authorisation of the company “Le Paris de Dorothée”, under pain of legal action.
You must accept that minor differences between the photograph/illustration/text used and the actual property may arise. Concerning element of comfort, decoration and furnishings, please refer to the written description of the page. Some details and equipment you can see on the pictures as flowers, candles, bottles of wine, some pieces of dishes or crockery… are not provided on our regular arrangement.
Security and values
Any valuables left at the property are left are your own risk. Neither “Le Paris de Dorothée” nor the property owner nor our agents are responsible for their loss.
All our properties are very downtown and as with all properties in prime locations, there may be a risk of burglary. Entrance door must be always locked with key(s) when you are outside as well as inside the accommodation. Where provided, safes must used and proper care taken against theft and burglary. We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or consequential losses due to theft or any other security related incident howsoever caused
Litigations
In case of litigation occuring for the execution of the general conditions or during their realisation and in regards to the conditions of their consequences, if a friendly settlement does not occur and if the litigation must be brought to a court, the parties give jurisdiction to the Tribunal de PARIS (Paris Court).
Number of people occupying the flat
Only the persons listed on your reservation can occupy the flat. The number of persons cannot be more than the number of beds indicated on the reservation contract (number also includes children less than 2 years old). If the number of occupants is not respected, the company “Le Paris de Dorothée” reserves the right to cancel the rental contract.
Arrival
Please, call us when you have picked up your luggage at the airport at the following telephone number is : 06 81 41 85 52 and we will personally welcome you in the apartment rented. The rental begins at 2:00 PM. We will inventory the furnishings, households items and linen together and you will sign an inventory sheet. You will give us the security deposit, present and give a copy of an identity card or your passport and the balance of your booking.
You can arrive any days (Arrival or departure on sundays and legal holiday without addition) during the week but you must arrive between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the rental start date. If your arrival is delayed you must inform “Le Paris de Dorothée” so that suitable arrangements can be made for entry to the temporary accommodation.
“Le Paris de Dorothée” or his/her representative shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time during any occupancy for the purposes of inspection and maintenance.
Departure
The rental ends before 12:00 PM. We will make an appointment for the departure formalities (condition of the premises, inventory, security deposit and return of the keys). If your departure is very early the morning, we will do by ourselves the inventory and you will be informed about the result by mail. The departure is carried out after you have completely moved out of the premises. If your flight is late in the days and the apartment has not been rented already, you can stay a bit later in the apartment without surcharge providing you got our company’s approval.
Extension of your tripr
It is possible to extend your stay if the flat you are occupying is not reserved. If it is reserved, we will offer you another flat.
Pets
Pets are not permitted in our flats.
Smokers
Only in some apartments, smokers are permit. Please, ask when you book your flat if it is permit.
Your responsabilities
We accommodate you in a furnished and fully equipped flat and you are responsible for any deterioration that occurs during the period you have exclusive possession.
The flat should be turned over to us in the same state of working order.
If these conditions are not respected, we can end your rental without any prior notification and we won’t have to refund you the days that you could have paid but not used.
Our responsabilities
We must make a flat available that is in good condition and working order. We are not responsible for any cancellation or delay in rental due to reasons over which we have no control : political, religious events, terrorism, natural disasters, fires, accidents, war, strikes, governmental measures, industrial actions, etc… In the event of such discharge our liability shall be limited to the return of sums paid to us in respect of the unused portion of the rent calculated on a pro rata night basis less an administrative charge of 50 Euros to cover our reasonable expenses.
We cannot be responsible for any mechanical break down of equipment in the flat or the co-property, e.g. : elevator, electric doors, heating TV antenna, etc… or for a service outage : electricity, water, gas or cable TV.
We are not responsible for your rental choice.
Cleaning and Linen
We give you a flat that is in perfect condition with a towels set per person. Linen is included in all properties. If you have a baby, it is advisable to take baby linen. You must to arrange your personnal properties to facility the cleaning of the flat (no clothes on the floor for example). ICleaning and drying of the dishes is not included in the cleaning service. It is the tenant’s responsability to keep his dishes clean during his stay as well as when leaving the apartment. A deduction of 60 Euros will be taken on deposit if the dishes are not cleaned, dried and put away in cabinets at the time of departure. The house cleaning will be done on request providing the apartment is easily accessible to our cleaning team. If you wish a special cleaning or change of linen during your stay, this service is available on simple request.
Insurances
We strongly recommend you to cover yourself, every member of your party, your luggage and your party’s luggage, cash, jewels, valuables, etc… by a comprehensive travel insurance. Please contact your insurance agent or your travel agency before leaving your permanent home.
Complains
In the unlikely event that you are disappointed with the temporary accommodation, you must contact at once “Le Paris de Dorothée”. We will try to solve the problem.
If you vacate the property before the end of the rental period without our authorisation you shall lose any rights to compensation.
